We Still Believe in Privacy

You might have noticed that the Paris in my Pocket website doesn't hit you with any annoying cookie policies. That's because we don't use any. We hold your privacy in the highest esteem, to the degree that we can't even figure out who you are based on the data our analytics software collects.

We are GDRP, CCPA, ePrivacy, and PECR compliant. You can check out the software we use for yourself at usefathom.com

We use Stripe at checkout for credit card processing, and in that case your name and email are kept securely on file for support and access to the back end of the website as well as with Stripe - whose privacy policy you can read here.

Fighting Climate Change

We know that travel can leave a big impact on the planet, which is one of the main reasons we've opted not to print copies of the guide but are doubling down on digital. Reducing production cost and waste are one step, but we'd like to try and do something proactive as well. That's why we've signed on with Stripe Climate, which collects 1% of all revenue at checkout to contribute to vetted carbon removal programs around the world.

In a less obvious way, our hope is that by helping to orient travelers to Paris they're more comfortable using public transportation and bikes to get around. We'll keep working to come up with creative ways to negate the negative impacts of travel as time goes on, but those are the ones we've implemented so far.

Good-Time Guarantee

If access to Paris in my Pocket doesn't help make your trip to Paris the best it could possibly be, or you're unhappy for any reason, reach out and we'll refund your money. No questions asked.

You will lose access to the guide and all of its future upgrades and evolutions. But you'll still have access to Paris itself, which really is the bigger dream.
